The management and engineers at Predator Motor Corporation have been building equipment and products for customers like Motorola, Samsung, LGE, McDonnell Douglas, Boeing and several other Fortune 500
companies for over 25 years, stretching from North America to Europe and Asia.
In 2008 Predator Motor Corporation was born with the idea and motivation to build a state of the art offroad play vehicle for the weekend warrior in Southern California. In less than 18 months we can say
that the X-18 is in several countries around the world. These countries include the United States, Japan, China, Dubai, Belgium, Mexico and South America.
By customer demand for a lower cost produced SCORE certifiable car, the X-18S was developed.
This car is the result of the 2008 X-18 being modified by racers, and a lot of input from racing legends such as Malcolm Smith and the talents and expertise of Bill Savage of SPD Products. Bill’s company, SPD Products has been building products for customers like NASA and Bilstein, to name only a few. SPD Products has been overseeing SCORE tech for over thirty five years, establishing the standard set for the building off-road race cars.
Although Predator Motor Corporation does not build race cars, several customers have taken the next step with Bill and his team at SPD Products to have their cars certified for racing in the famous Baja
500/1000, and several other SCORE racing events.
All racing associations in North and South American consider a SCORE constructed/certified vehicle to be the optimal standards to construct an off-road car for any race, even if you do not race
SCORE sanctioned event.
The X-18S has its final assembly in Temecula California. We use parts from local and foreign
manufacturers from around the world. The X-18S has a 90-day warranty bumper to bumper, and a 12-month warranty on the chassis, material and workmanship. All bolt-on and replaceable parts can be purchased from an authorized Predator Motor Corporation dealership and/or a good aftermarket supply house such as Kartec, McKenzie’s and ORW.
The X-18S is designed and built by off-roaders for off-roaders to be a durable off-road car, utilizing existing proven technologies and parts readily available from manufacturers and suppliers.
