Predator Motor Corporation Introduces the X-18 Intimidator
With a 2.2L Chevy Engine and 100% Chromoly Chassis
Temecula, CA – 26 March 2009
An affordable high-end, fully loaded pre-runner / dune buggy / sand rail, the X-18 is
designed by off-road racers. It can handle the toughest terrain from sand to dunes to dirt. The X-18 can be made street legal in most states except California.
The X-18 utilizes some of the finest engineered parts available off-the-shelf and needs
no modifications to play hard. The X-18 utilizes a GM Ecotec 2.2 liter (2200cc) fuel injected dual overhead cam power plant that produces approximately 170HP and 155 foot lbs of torque at 5500 RPM.
The X-18 power train is overbuilt to ensure reliability in the off-road world the
powertrain is built to handle 300 HP for those customers that feel they always need more.
SCORE International and several other off-road sanctioning bodies have just approved a
class for the X-18 and X-18S based on the power plant SCORE (Class 2) BITD and MDR (Class 3000).
With an automatic transmission, power steering, a dual-keyed ignition (low speed of
35MPH and high speed 70MPH), heated seats, Simpson 5-point safety harnesses, and side window safety nets, the X-18 can play hard, but still has the family and family safety in mind.
